Below I've explained the typical process of hiring me as your PPC Manager from initial contact to the ppc audit through to ongoing monthly pay per click management.
After you have made contact either via email, phone or though the contact form we’ll normally have a meeting which can be either face to face, via the telephone or conference call.
This is a good opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have and for me to find out more about your business.
I shall be asking you questions like "what you have tried so far in terms of online advertising" and "if you have any results to share".
We’ll go through your goals for your website and sales so I can get an idea of how I can help you achieve them.
We shall also talk about your intended monthly advertising budget as this amount will determine the set-up fee and monthly management fee you will pay (more details can be found on my pricing page).
Normally at this stage if you have already been advertising then I would request read only access to your account so I can review in order to spot any areas that need improvement and also areas that are working well.
Depending on my findings it may be appropriate to have another call to go though in more detail or it could be confirmed within an email along with a plan of action / proposal of what I would recommend.
Based on my findings and proposal, if you are happy to proceed then I will send through an invoice to cover the set up fee and terms of service.
Once the set-up fee has been received, I will send a questionnaire, its purpose is to fill in any gaps from our initial call and to help with the research stage.
I will confirm my findings and the specific plan moving forward. Once agreed I will commence with the build of the campaigns.
After the build, I shall launch your campaign(s) on the agreed date. Management will be more intensive at this stage just to make sure it's running as intended and to make quick alterations as the data starts to flow into the account.
After the first month I will provide a report on performance against agreed aims. The first report will also help refine the other stats you may need to measure the value of your online advertising spend.
After the initial launch stage and things have settled a bit then your account will continue to be managed according to agreed target value on ad spend.
While I am available between office hours (outside in emergencies) via telephone and email for all account queries from experience it’s often good for a monthly catch call to go through your report and answer queries with the performance data accumulated.
