David & Charles work with selected premium brand partners to deliver online learning.
Objective
I was approached by an Exeter based publisher looking to sell their amazing online embroidery courses in partnership with the Royal School of Needlework. Their initial objective was for the Google Ads campaign to generate enough sales to prove that it is a profitable advertising channel for the business.
Strategy
From my research, I discovered that although the Royal School of Needlework was a renowned brand, the own publisher's name was not yet as recognised in the world of embroidery. Therefore, my strategy was to not only generate a steady flow of sales of the online courses it was also to build brand awareness (and confidence) that would lead to sales in the longer term. Focusing on expanding into other PPC channels and creating engaging ad copy were just some of the tactics I utilised to grow this account.
Results
Some of the top results I have achieved were a 50% decrease in cost per click, 150% increase in click-through rate and 200% Increase in online sales. Plus a carefully structured campaign that the businesses newly appointed Marketing Manager could take on with ease and start to build on to their next exciting phase.
